show that any positive odd integer is of the form of 6q + 1 or 6 q + 3 or 6 q+ 5 Where Q is some integer ????

We have ,

6q + 1 is odd .

→ 6q is even

→ 2(3q) is even

Let 3q =x.

Since , 2(3q) is an integer

→ 2x is an integer ......(1)

Now let 2x = y .

→ x =y/2

→x is an integer ( From 1)
