Substitute 1 in the place of q. Then, 4+1 = 5(odd number) & 4+3 = 7(odd number)

According to Euclid's algorithm
a=bq+r , where 0Let b=4 where 0
a=4q
a=4q+1 is an odd number
a=4q+2
a=4q+3 is an odd number
Hence proved that every positive odd integer is in the form of 4q+1 or 4q+3.
That's your answer
