if 'n' is an even no.

let 'n' be 2

then, n=2

n+2=2+2=4

n+4=2+4=6

6 is divisible by 3

hence, if 'n' is and even number then n+4 is divisible by 3.

if 'n' is an odd no.

let 'n' be 1

then, n=1

n+2=1+2=3

n+4=1+4=5

3 is divisible by 3

hence, if 'n' is an odd number then n+2 is divisible by 3.
