Firstly there is a spelling mistake in your question which can be figured out. Its change in momentum.
Force = mass * acceleration due to gravity
F= m*a= m(v-u)/t
F*t = m(v-u)
Impulse = F * t= mv - mu (which is equal to change in momentum)
Thus,
Impulse is equal to the change in momentum (m∆v)
