Answer:

Explanation:

let a body of mass moving with the acceleration the force acting on the body will be:

f=ma---------1

if the body is displaced from the rest position to the distance s

then,the work done in the body

w=fs---2

w=(ma)s from 1

if the final velocity of the object is v after moving the distance =

v2=u2+2as

now s=v2/2a----3

putting the value of 3rd in eq 1 we get,

w= ma *   v2 /2a

w=1/2mv2

This is your answer for KE =  1/2 mv2

The object is placed at hieght h

Work done=Force * Displacement ..(1)

Then,

Force= mass * acceleration

Here acceleration is due to gravity

Then,

Force = M * g ......(2)

From (1) and (2)

Work done= M * g * displacement ..(3)

Then,

Here displacement is h

Displacement = h ...(4)

Then ,

From (3) and (4)

Work = M*g*h

Work=Mgh

This is answer for PE= mgh
