Show that n2 -1 is divisible by 8 , if 'n' is an odd positive integer ?​

2-1 = 1 ÷8 = 8n + n = 8n upon 2

We can prove it by taking an example:-

Let n be = 3

So, n²-1 = 3²-1 = 9-1 = 8

And 8 is divisible by 8.

Hence proved!
