Show that p(x)= x cube x3x square +2x -6 has only one real zero

Answer:

let p(x) be( x-1)

the root of x,

x-1=0

x=1

so by putting p(x) is 1 we get

x*3+3x*2+2x-6

p(1)=x*(1)+3x(1)*2+2(1)-6

=1+3+2-6

=6-6

=0

so teh zero of the polymial is (x-1)..
