show that p(x)=xcube-3xsq+2x-6 has only one zero

Let's solve it....

x³-3x²+2x-6

Sum of all coefficients= 1-3+2-6= 3-9= 6.
(x+1) is not a factor...
Sum of odd coefficients= 1+2=3
Sum of all even coefficients= -3-6=-3
(x-1) is a factor...

g(x)= x-1=0
x-1=0
x=1

f(x) = x³-3x²+2x-6
f(-1)= (1)³-3(1)²+2(1)-6
=1+3+2-6
= 6-6
=0
