1/root2 = p/q where , q is not equal to zero and p and q do not have the same factors

1/ root2 = p/q

root2 = q/p*1

here on the RHS p ,q and 1 are integers . hence they are rational.

but as root 2 is irrational

LHS is not equal to RHS

hence reciprocal of irrational number root2 is rational
