Your question needs a correction,

Correct question : Show that : sec40°sin50° + cos50°cosec40° = 2

\textbf{ Solution : }

RHS ⇒ sec40°sin50° + cos50°cosec40°

\Rightarrow ( \frac{1}{cos40\degree } \times sin50\degree ) + ( \frac{1}{sec50\degree} \times cosec40\degree )

\Rightarrow ( \frac{1}{ cos( 90 - 50 )\degree } \times sin50 \degree ) + ( \frac{1}{ sec( 90 - 40 )\degree } \times cosec40\degree \degree )

\Rightarrow ( \frac{1}{ sin50 \degree } \times sin 50\degree ) +( \frac{1}{ cosec40 \degree } \times cosec40 \degree )

⇒ 1 + 1

⇒ 2

Hence, 2 = 2

RHS = LHS

Hence,Proved.
