Answer:

correction: Show that

Sin² theta + cos² theta = 1

okay so let's consider first this one:

a) sin² theta/ cos² theta + cos theta = 1/ cos theta

=> sin² theta + cos² theta = 1/cos theta × cos theta

=> sin² theta + cos² theta = 1

hence proved that,

Sin² theta + Cos² theta = 1

second proof,

If sin theta = 3/5

( so will apply,

Sin² theta + Cos² theta = 1 )

=> ( 3/5 )² + Cos² theta = 1

=> 9/25 + cos² theta = 1

=> cos² theta = 1 - 9/25

=> cos² theta = 16/25

=> cos theta = √ 16/25 = 4/5

hence proved,

Sin² theta + Cos² theta = 1

so regarding this both proofs we can show that

Sin² theta + Cos² theta = 1

hope that it maybe helpful!!
