Step-by-step explanation:

Let A(x1,y1)=(−1,−8),

B(x2,y2)=(−4,−6) and C(x3,y3)=(2,−1) and D(x4,y4)=(−3,−3) be the vertices of a square.

∴ Distance between two points  =(x2−x1)2+(y2−y1)2

AB=(4+1)2+(−6+8)2=25+4=29units

BC=(2−4)2+(−1+6)2=4+25=29units

CD=(−3−2)2+(−3+1)2=25+4=29units

DA=(−3+1)2+(−3+8)2=4+25=29units

AB=CD=BC=DA

Hence, the given points form a square.
