Show that the following points form an isosceles triangle.

(2, 3), (5, 7) and (1, 4)

I hope you know the distance formula, that is :-
Distance =  \sqrt{( x_{2} -  x_{2}  ) + ( y_{1} -  y_{2}  )} ..............(1)
Let A= (2,3)
Let B= (5,7)
Let C= (1,4)
By using the formula (1) :-
AB = 5
BC = 5
AC =  \sqrt{2}

Since AB = BC, Triangle ABC is an isosceles Triangle with base AC.

by using distance formula we can get the answer first calculate AB and BC then if they r equal they it is isocles triangle
