The maximum possible error in Z
ΔZ = ΔA + ΔB
For the difference Z = A – B, we have
Z ± Δ Z = (A ± ΔA) – (B ± ΔB) = (A – B) ± ΔA ± ΔB
or, ± ΔZ = ± ΔA ± ΔB The maximum value of the error ΔZ is again ΔA + ΔB
