Answer:

A (1,-1) = x1 =1 y1 = -1

B (5,2) = x2 = 5. y2 = 2

C(9,5) = x3 = 9. y3 = 5

area of ∆ = 1\2 [ x1 (y2-y3) + x2 (y3-y1) +x3 (y1-y2)

0 = 1\2 [ 1(2-5) +5(5-(-1))+9 (-1-2)]

0 ÷ 1\2= [1(3) +5(5+1) + 9 (-1-2)]

0 = [ 1(3) + 5(6) + 9(-3)]

0 = [ 3+30-27]

0 = 6
