Answer:

Use area of triangle formula to prove area is 0

A =  (1/2) [x1 (y2- y3 ) + x2 (y3-y1 ) + x3(y1-y2)]

= 1/2 [1 (0- -2) + 2 (-2-2) + 3 (2-0)]

= 1/2 [1 (2) + 2 (-4) + 3 (2)]

= 1/2 [2 + -8 + 6]

= 1/2 [0]

= 0

Since area of triangle is zero, the points are co-linear
