Answer:

just take distance between two point and A to B and B to C A to C... Any two sides distance should be equal...

Step-by-step explanation:

Dustance formula: {√(x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2}

\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\;to\;the\;Question}}}}

Here,

Assume

P(- 4, 0), Q (4, 0) and R(0, 3) vertices of isosceles triangle

Now,

Using distance formula

P( -4, 0) & Q(4, 0)

PQ = √{4 - (-4)}² + (0 - 0)²

PQ = √(4 - 4)²

PQ = √(8)²

PQ = 8

Now,

Distance between Q(4, 0) & R(0, 3) :-

QR = √(0 - 4)² + (3 - 0)²

QR = √16 + 9

QR = √25

QR = 5

Now,

Distance between R(4, 0) and P(0, 3)

RP = √{0 - (- 4)}² + (3 - 0)²

RP = √16 + 9

RP = √25

RP = 5

Here we get,

QR = RP

Two sides are equal

Hence,

PQR is an isosceles triangle
