x^2 - 2x + 5  = 0

we will find its determinant , if it is less than zero
then , it will be proved that it has no real zeroes

a = 1 , b = -2 , c = 5

determinant , D = b^2 - 4ac = (-2)^2 - 4x1x5 = 4 - 20 = -16
