Show that "the range of the first seven multiples of the smallest odd prime numbers is also a multiple of that prime number

Smallest odd prime number is 3.


Finding the multiples of the number smallest odd prime 3-

3x1=3

3x2=6

3x3=9

3x4=12

3x5=15

3x6=18

3x7=21


So, the multiples are 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 21

Largest number = 21

Smallest number = 3

Finding Range-

Range = largest number - smallest number

Range = 21 - 3

Range = 18.

Hence : Required answer is 18.


Range = 18 which is multiple of the smallest odd prime number 3.
