Show that the sum of first n even natural numbers is equal to (1+1/n) times the sum of the first n odd natura
numbers.

sum of first n even natural numbers = n(n+1)

sum of the first n odd natural numbers = n2

sum of first n even natural numbers / sum of the first n odd natural numbers = n(n+1) / n²

by cancelling the common factor n

= (n+1) / n
