According to Newton’s second law of motion
Force is equal to Rate of change of linear Momentum
F = dp / dt
From above
dp = F dt
In terms of units
dp = N s ………[1]
[Note: Subtracting two terms doesn’t changes their units.
For e.g. 6 kg - 3 kg = 3 kg]
∴ From Equation [1] Unit of linear momentum is N s
