Hello Mate!

Since we know that, F = GMm/R² ( Earth )

F' = GM'm/R'² ( Moon )

Now, F' / F = [ GM'm/R'² ] / [ GMm/R² ]

F' / F = GM'm/R'² × R²/GM'm

Here m ( mass of object will cancel out since mass is every where same ).

F' / F = M'/R'² × R²/M

F' / F = ( M'/M ) × ( R²/R )

Now we know that mass of moon is 1/100 than that of earth. Where radius of earth is 16 times more than radius of moon.

F' / F = 1/100 × 16

F' / F = 16/100

F' / F ~ 1 / 6

F' ~ 1 F / 6

Weight in moon is similar to 1/6th weight of an object on earth.

Have great future ahead!
