Answer:

If (x+1) is a factor of the given polynomial, the zero of the same factor should satisfy the value for the polynomial.

(x+1) =0

=> x = -1.

Now putting value of x in the given polynomial;

4x^2 +3x -1 =0

=> 4 (-1)^2 + 3 (-1) -1 =0

=> 4 -3 -1 =0

=> 4 -4 =0

=> 0=0.

So, (x+1) is a factor of the given Polynomial
