Show that x-1 is a factor of f(x) = 2x3–3x2+ 7x –6.

x-1=0

x=1

f(1)=2(1)^3-3(1)^2+7(1)-6

=2-3+7-6

=0

if x-1 is 0 then we find that f(x) is also zero there is no remainder
