show that (x-1) is a factor of p(x)=3x³+x²-3x+1 and hence factorize p(x)

when u out x=1 the answer will be zero.hence it is the factor of the given eqn

from the above picture I can say that (x-1) is not a factor of p(x)=3x³+x²-3x+1 ....

once check your question..there should be (x+1)
