show that(x-1) is a factor of (x^11-1) and also of (x^12-1)

Answer:

we can show it by factor theorem

Here we can get our a as 1 because x-a=x-1 ,so a =1

now we will put the value of a in the monomial xto the power 11-1 that is

1 to the power 11-1=1-1=0

Since , the remainder becomes zero it show that x-1 is its factor

Similarly, we can show that x-1 is a factor od x to the power by 12-1.
