show that(x-1)is a factor of (x10-1)

P(x) = x^10 - 1

By Remainder theoram

On putting x = 1, we get

P(1) = (1)^10 - 1

P(1) = 1 - 1

P(1) = 0

Remainder = 0

Hence, (x-1) is a factor of given polynomial...
