Let-the polynomial f(x)=2x^3-3x^2+7x-6

and, g(x)=x-1

now, g(x)=o

x-1=0

x=1

now, putting x=1 in equation f(x) we get

let f(x)=0

f(1)=2×1³-3×1²+7×1-6=0

2-3+7-6=0

-1+1=0

0=0

hence this shows that x-1 is a root of f(x).

hope it helps.

thanks.
