Show that X=1 is a root of the polynomial f(X) =x^3-6^3+11x-6

f(X) =x^3-6^3+11x-6

put the value of x=1 in f(x)

if it is equal to 0 then it is the root of f(x)

1(1)^3-216+11(1)-6

=1-216+11-6

=-210

therefore it is not the root of f(x)
