Step-by-step explanation:

For (x+2) to be a factor of p(x) = (x^5 + 32), p(-2) should be equal to zero.

Now, p(-2) = (-2^5 +32) = -32+32 = 0

Since p(-2)=0, (x+2) is a factor of (x^5 +32).
