Answer:

x-2=0. x+3=0. x-4=0

x=2. x=-3. x=4

put x=2

3x^2 - 10x + 24=0

3(2)^2 - 10(2)+24=0

3×4 - 20 + 24 = 0

36-20=0

16=0

since LHS is not equal to RHS(zero)

:- x-2 is not a factor of the given eqaution...

smilarily,

put x= -3

3(-3)^2-10(-3)+24=0

3×9+30+24=0

81=0

since LHS is not equal to RHS(zero)

:- x-2 is not a factor of the given equation...

put x=4

3(4)^2-10(4)+24=0

42-40+24=0

26=0

since LHS is not equal to RHS(zero)

:- x-4 is not a factor of the given equation...
