Show that (x – 3) is a factor of 2x 3 - 3x 2 - 11x + 6 and hence factorize 2x 3 - 3x 2 - 11x + 6​

2x³-3x²-11x +6.

2x³-6x²+ 3x²-9x-2x +6

= 2x²(x-3) + 3x (x-3) - 2 (x-3)

= (x-3) (2x²+3x-2)

=(x-3) (2x²+4x-x-2)

= (x-3) { 2x(x+2) - 1 (x+2)}

=(x-3)(x+2) (2x-1)
