Show that (x -5) and (2x -1) are factors of 2x^2-11x+5.

2x^2-11x+5

=2x^2-(10+1)x+5

=2x^2-10x-x+5

=2x(x-5) -1(x-5)

=(x -5) (2x -1)

hence,(x -5) and (2x -1) are factors of 2x^2-11x+5.
