X+5 = -5

F(-5) = - 5×3+(-5)+3×(-5)+115

= 15-2-110

=-97

X+5 is not a factor of x^3+x+3x+115

Step-by-step explanation:

f(-5)=-5^3+(-5)+3(-5)+115

= -125-5-15+115

= -145+115

=-30

x+5 is not the factor of f(x)=x^3+x+3x+115
