Answer:

g(x) = x³ - 3x² + 4x - 12

q(x) = x - 3

=> x - 3 = 0

=> x = 3

g(3) = 3³ - 3(3)² + 4(3) - 12

= 27 - 27 + 12 - 12

= 0

Hence, q(x) = (x - 3) is a factor of the polynomial g(x) = - 3x + 4x - 12
