Well, to say,

x²+4x+6

has zeroes but they aren't REAL...

please try to understand my point and DON'T take it offensively...

We have a method called as the sridharacharya or the Indian method for determining the roots of a quadratic equation.

The equation is like that of the picture above.

By putting the values we have 2 roots....which are COMPLEX or IMAGINARY and not REAL...

So in my point of view, you should specify IMAGINARY or REAL in your question...

Otherwise , why not , every quadratic equation has roots...

But as you are lower class, IMAGINARY numbers have not been taught, so at your level I agree with your statement...

on calculating the discriminate we found that it is less that zero. so the equation has no real roots.
