Also, x×y=360

⇒x=y360…(ii)

On putting the value of x=y360 in Eq. (i), we get 

y360−y=2

⇒360−y2=2y

⇒y2+2y−360=0

⇒y2+20y−18y−360=0

⇒y(y+20)−18(y+20)=0

⇒(y−18)(y+20)=0

⇒y=−20 and 18

But y=−20 can't be the one number as it is given that the numbers are positive. 

⇒y=18, then x=18360=20 

Hence, the two numbers are 20 and 18 .
