As jeans and trouser are substitute goods to each other therefore with the decrease in price of jeans would lead to:
1.Increase in demand of jeans.
2.Also,there would be a CROSS PRICE EFFECT causing a decrease in demand of trouser(substitution effect)
3. trouser's demand curve will show backward shift(not contract, as own price of trousers remains same)
