Question:-

show the electronic transfer in the formation of MgCI2 from element

required answer :-

Answer: FIRSTLY,THE ATOMIC NUMBER OF MAGNESIUM (Mg) IS 10 AND THE ATOMIC NUMBER OF CHLORINE (Cl) is 17. Therefore, the when following the octete rule in chemistry wher e the valence shell should have 8 eletrons . So,the electrons have been removed from the mg and transfered to chlorine . hence , it becomes MgCl2
