Answer:

The sodium (Na) atom transfers one electron to the chlorine (Cl) atom, in order to attain complete octet . With the transfer of the electron, however, they become electrically charged, and combine into salts through the formation of ionic bonds. The sodium ion now has only ten electrons, but still has eleven protons.

Once upon a time there was a girl named Amily, who was always playing with her friends and always passing time by just sitting on computer and was always thinking that she was a genus in her studies. Her parents kept saying to her to study, But she did'nt ever listened to them, She always did what she wanted to do. One day when she was studying in school, her teacher asked her a question regarding mathematics. She was not able to do it as she didn't practiced at home and didn't ever studied the concepts. Then the children laughed at her as she didn't even gave an answer to the most simplest question of mathematics. She felt ashamed. After that day she started studying at her home and always answered back to teachers whenever they asked any question to her. :)
