Answer:

Sodium Oxide : Na2O

E conf. of Na= 2,8,1 , valancy = 1

E conf. of O = 2,6 , valancy = 2

Na . ------------>

-------------> : O

Na . ------------>

2 Na will give 2 electrons to O to make it stable like Neon.

Lithium Chloride : LiCl

E conf. of Li = 2,1 ,valancy = 1

E conf. of Cl = 2,8,7 ,valancy = 1

Li . ------------> . Cl

Lithium will give its valence electron to Chlorine to make it stable like Argon.

Calcium Chloride : CaCl2

E conf. of Ca = 2,8,8,2 ,valancy = 2

E conf. of Cl = 2,8,7 ,valancy = 1

Cl . < -----------------

: Ca

Cl . < -----------------

Each calcium atom will give 1 electron to Chlorine to make it stable like Argon
