Answer :

Given :

A = (3 , -2 , 4) - (X1 , Y1 , Z1 )

B = (1 , 1 , 1 ) - (X2 , Y2 , Z2 )

C = (-1 , 4 , -1) - (X3 , Y3 , Z3 )

To Find :

A , B , C are collinear

Solution :

By Centroid Formula ;

x = X1 +X2 + X3 ÷ 3

x= 3 + 1 + (-1) ÷ 3

x = 4-1 ÷ 3

x= 3 ÷ 3

x= 1

y = Y1 + Y2 + Y3 ÷ 3

y = -2 + 1 + 4 ÷ 3

y = -1+4 ÷ 3

y = 3 ÷ 3

y = 1

z = Z1 + Z2 + Z3 ÷ 3

z = 4 + 1 + (-1) ÷ 3

z= 5 - 1 ÷ 3

z= 4 ÷ 3

CHECK THE QUESTION ONCE AGAIN AND COMMENT HERE THE CORRECT NUMBERS OF (1,1,1) BECAUSE I THINK THE QUESTION IS WRONG SOMEWHERE ONE OF THE ONE SHOULD BE NEGATIVE.

Hope this helps you.
