Binary Fission in Amoeba:

  1. Simple Binary Fission is seen in irregular shaped Amoeba as it has no definite plane of division
  2. Thr contractile vacoule in Amoeba cease to function and disappear
  3. The nucleoli disintegrate and divides mitotically
  4. The cell constricts in the middle and so the cytoplasm divides into two daughter cell

Differences between Multiple Fission and Binary Fission:

  1. The parent body divides into two daughter cells is called Binary Fission
  2. The parent body divides into four or more daughter cells equally is called Multiple Fission
