Binary Fission in Amoeba:
- Simple Binary Fission is seen in irregular shaped Amoeba as it has no definite plane of division
- Thr contractile vacoule in Amoeba cease to function and disappear
- The nucleoli disintegrate and divides mitotically
- The cell constricts in the middle and so the cytoplasm divides into two daughter cell
Differences between Multiple Fission and Binary Fission:
- The parent body divides into two daughter cells is called Binary Fission
- The parent body divides into four or more daughter cells equally is called Multiple Fission
