Answer:

When a source of light is kept at focus of a concave mirror, the reflected rays form a parallel beam of light and go to infinity. ... Hence, convex mirror is used as rear-view mirror in vehicles. ..

The light rays coming from infinity converge at the focus after reflection from a concave mirror.✔✔✔✔✌✌❤

There are two different cases.

  • First one, when the the beam of light coming from far, when we are using the concave mirror.
  • The image is formed upside down and real, that means the real image is formed on the same side of the mirror.
  • When we use the convex mirror, the beam of light coming from far will converge at one point  and made a point image.
  • That in different way the two cases can be distinguish.
