Given : In a long-jump competition Sonali jumped  5\frac{2}{10} m and Anil jumped  4\frac{3}{10}  m.

To Find : Who just  more

How much more

Solution:

Sonali jumped  5\frac{2}{10} m

Anil jumped  4\frac{3}{10} m

5\frac{2}{10}  > 5

 4\frac{3}{10}  < 5

Hence   5\frac{2}{10}   >  4\frac{3}{10}

So sonali jumped more than Anil

5\frac{2}{10}   = 52/10  m

 4\frac{3}{10}     = 43/10 m

sonali jumped more than Anil   = 52/10 - 43/10

= 9/10

sonali jumped more and 9/10 m more
