Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Marcus has a part time job A and Part time job B He earns Php.20 per one hour in A and Php.35 per hour in B. if he rended his expenses he earns atleast 150 Php. a day together .

For that above information

Let x is number of hours he works in A

y is the number of hours he works in B

so total amount he will earns 20x+35y≥150

Solution:-

We have an in-equation for the given situation is

20x+35y≥150

Where,x is the number of hours in first part time job

y is the number of hours in second part time job

Now

Option -1:

Part time job A = 1 hour

Part time job B = 3 hours

20(1)+35(3)

=>20+105

=>125<150

So it is not possible to Marcus to reach his goal

Option -2:-

Part time job A = 5 hours

Part time job B = 2 hours

=>20(5)+35(2)

=>100+70

=>170>150

It is possible to Marcus to reach his goal

Option-3:-

Part time job A = 5 hours

Part time job B = 1 hour

=>20(5)+35(1)

=>100+35

=>135<150

It is not possible to Marcus to reach his goal

Option -4:-

Part time job A = 2 hours

Part time job B = 2 hours

=>20(2)+35(2)

=>40+70

=>110<150

It is not possible to Marcus to reach his goal

Answer:-

Option B

If Part time job A is 5 hours and Part time job B is 2 hours then Marcus will reach his goal for his expenses.
