with its plane perpendicular to the magnetic field.

A battery is connected between the ends
of the coil.
(i) What is the direction of current in the coil ?
(ii) What is the direction of force on each arm of
the coil
(iii) Will the coil rotate due to the forces on its
arms ?

Attach the figure please. Then I can answer your question

but the answer to the third question is there coil won't rotate because, as far as I have understood the ques all the arms will experience an outward pull.
