✍︎To Find

Number Of Rooms On The Ground Floor

Solution

Given That,

Total Number Of rooms = 33

Let The

Number of Rooms in First Floor be x

  • Number of rooms in ground floor is 2X -12

  • X + 2X - 12 = 33

  • 3X-12 = 33

  • 3X = 33 +12

  • 3X = 45

  • X = 45/3

Cancelled

  • X = 15

VERIFICATION

  • = 2(15)-12

  • =30 -12

  • = 18

Therefore Total Numbefr Of Room=18+15=33.

Given:-

Total Number Of rooms = 33

\dagLet

Number of Rooms in First Floor be \bold{x}

Number of rooms in ground floor is 2x -12

\implies \sf{x + 2x - 12 = 33}

\sf \implies{3x - 12 = 33}

\sf \implies{3x = 33 +12}

\sf \implies{3x = 45}

\sf \implies{x = \dfrac{\cancel{45}}{\cancel{3}}}
