(i) The number of zeroes of the polynomial represented by the graph is (c) 3.

(ii) The sum of zeroes of the polynomial represented by the graph is (d) -5.

  • The sum of zeroes will be -4-2+1 = -5.

(iii) Find the value of the polynomial represented by the graph when x= 0 (b) -8.

  • When the value of x= 0, then y = -8.

(iv) The polynomial representing the graph in the painting by Shruti is (b) cubic polynomial.

  • Since there are three zeroes so it is a cubic polynomial.

(v) The sum of the product of zeroes, taken two at a time, of the polynomial represented by the graph is (d) 2

  • The sum of the product of zeroes taken two at a time = 2.
