Ammeter

Explanation:

Ammeter is a device to measure current in an electric circuit. Electric currents are measured in amperes which is denoted by the symbol A. The ammeter must be connected in series to read the value of current in the circuit correctly.

Sushant accidentally dropped an ammeter and broke it while conducting an experiment. Even though his classmates advised him to hide the incident from the teacher, Sushant went and told the teacher the truth. The teacher did not scold him and showed the class the working of the ammeter using the damaged parts.
